Body language experts have, for aeons, stood by the belief that when we are attracted to someone, we look at their lips.So whenyou think about it, the fact that shenotices your nashers makes sense.
Appreciating the appearance of a potential partners teeth goes long beyond just being shallow (although that does count for something), but more to do with the capability for decent genetics. Straight, white teeth indicate good health and hygiene as well, which is seen as so much of a bonus that two in five Americans would not go on a second date with someone who had yellow or crooked teeth. And on top of all that,Americans perceive gentlemen and womenwith straight teeth to be 45% more likely to get a job than those with crooked teeth when competing with someone who has a similar skill set and experience, as well as being 58% more likely to be successfuland58% more likely to be wealthy. Pretty serious stuff,so how do you get those teeth sparking?
It’s never too late to get your teeth fixed. If you’ve been battling with yourself and your crooked teeth for years, there’s no time like the present to take the plunge and get them fixed. Sure, it might set you back a hefty chunk of cash and you might feel slightly uncomfortable for a couple of months, but if you’re genuinely unhappy – change it.
Buying over-the-counter whitening strips is not going to make your teeth healthier or whiter, but more sensitive and just the same colour. Unless you spend hundreds of pounds on proper kit designed by proper dentists, it’s likely that you’re using harsh, heavy chemicals that are doing nothing but stripping away the essential enamel from your teeth. If you’re going to do it, do it properly and seek help from a professional rather than attempting to do it yourself.
If neither of the above are within your price range, you need to start upping your personal hygiene game and find ways to keep your mouth as attractive as possible. Learn how to floss, get yourself a decent electric toothbrush, find the right toothpaste and mouthwash and for God’s sake, visit a dentist and hygienist once every six months. If your teeth aren’t your forte, you may as well do your utmost to make the best of a bad situation.
