This refreshing Lemon Basil Mint Spritzer is full of fantastic flavors, including lemon, fresh herbs, and ginger. It’s bright fruity flavor pairs perfectly with the herbs and freshly grated ginger for a delicious combination.

Yes, it's a non-alcoholic spritzer drink because that's how we do things here in our home. Besides, it's best to serve non-alcoholic drinks when it's hot outside. This is a refreshing drink that will be sure to help cool you off on a really hot day.

  • Water
  • Lemon juice
  • Mint leaves
  • Basil leaves
  • Fresh thyme
  • Lemon Zest
  • Ginger
  • 1 large lemon; thinly sliced
  • Sparkling water or seltzer

Step-by-Step Directions

Step 1: Heat Honey and Water Together

Add the honey and water together to a small saucepan. Over medium heat, stir frequently until the honey dissolves.

Step 2: Add to Pitcher

Remove the honey and water mixture from heat and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before pouring into a pitcher.

Step 3: Add Lemon Juice and Herbs

Next add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the fresh mint, basil and thyme. Then add in the minced ginger. Finally add the lemon slices.

Step 4: Refrigerate

Stir everything together to combine and place in the refrigerator to chill.

Step 5: Add the Sparkling Water

Right before serving, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator and pour the sparkling water into the pitcher. Stir to combine.

Pour into glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.

Serving Tips

  • I served these drinks in my favorite mason jars used as glasses. How fun are these for a party?I also have a few mason jar glasses with handles that are fun to use when company comes over.
  • Feel free to add your favorite seltzer in place of the sparkling water too. I think sliced limes would be great with this drink as well as the lemon.
  • Even thinly sliced cucumber would work well with this recipe. Experiment with the flavors and have fun with this Lemon Basil Mint Spritzer.

Lemon Basil Mint Spritzer

Lemon Basil Mint Spritzer is a refreshing non-alcoholic drink perfect for all your summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint washed and torn into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil washed and torn into pieces
  • 2 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • 2 teaspoon ginger finely minced
  • 1 large lemon thinly sliced
  • 2 cups sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Add the honey and water together to a small saucepan. Over medium heat, stir frequently until the honey dissolves
