Introduction of facility for online submission of requests for issue of duplicate mark sheets/pass certificates/Transcripts

Procedure for:

  • Attestation of mark sheets or pass or rank certificates
  • Correction in name or registration number in mark sheet or pass/rank certificates

A. Procedure for obtaining duplicate mark sheets/ pass certificates/Transcripts

Those who are desirous of applying for issue of duplicate mark sheets/pass certificates/transcripts, can apply for the same on-line at https://eservices.icai.org/ > log in to your dashboard > Post Examination Services > Post Examination Services form.and also pay the applicable fees on-line.

An affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs.10/- (or value as applicable in the state where the candidate resides) duly attested by an Oath Commissioner or Notary Public or a First Class Magistrate need to be sent by Speed Post at the address given below.

Issue of transcriptsRs 500/- per set of transcripts.

The transcript will be sent to the applicant or to any other authority as may be required by the applicant. In case the transcript is required to be sent to any authority outside India, an additional sum of Rs.2100/- per destination may be added to the above-mentioned fee of Rs.500/- to meet the courier charges. ICAI Members are required to pay 18% GST on the application fee.

Please upload the self-attested copy/ies of the below mentioned documents at SSP while filling up the transcript form, as applicable in a single PDF (arrange the documents in Seniority/chronological order).
  • Self-attested copy/ies of Marksheets of Entrance / Foundation / PE I / CPT (as applicable).
  • Self-attested copy/ies of Marksheet/s of Intermediate Level Exams. i.e. PE II / PCE / IPCE / Intermediate (both front and reverse side, if subjects are mentioned on the reverse side)
  • Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) / Business Accounting Associate (BAA) certificate, issued at Intermediate level Examination, if applicable (Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) / Business Accounting Associate (BAA) details will be included in the Transcript if applicant desires and sends a self-attested copy of the ATC/BAA and will be included in the transcript only to those who have not yet passed the Final Examination).
  • Self-attested copy/ies of Marksheet/s of Final Examination (both front and reverse side, if subjects are mentioned on the reverse side).
  • Self-attested copy/ies of Pass certificates of all the Examinations.
  • Self-attested copies of Rank Certificate issued, if any.
  • If Member has qualified any Post Qualification Courses like ISA-AT, IRM, INTT-AT etc and wish to include in the Transcript, please upload self-attested Marksheet and Pass certificate of the same.
  • Self-attested copy of Associate Membership Certificate / Fellow Membership Certificate.
  • Prescribed Academic Request Form or any other Form duly filled in by the candidate, received from Foreign University/ies / Management Institution/s, if any to be sent along with transcript.
  • In case membership certificate is also required to be attested, kindly get in touch with M&SS section on their email: suniti.tripathi[at]icai[dot]in; msshead[at]icai[dot]in

Where the information submitted is completed in all respects, the duplicate mark sheet/pass certificate/Rank Certificate/Transcript/Attestation would be issued within 21 working days.

B. Procedure for obtaining attested copies of Marks Sheets, Passing/Rank Certificates in a sealed envelope of the Institute

To obtain Attestation, please apply online at SSP:

Kindly visit https://eservices.icai.org/ > log in to your dashboard > Post Examination Services > Post Examination Services form. Select the Certificate type as “Attestation” > Read the instructions carefully and fill the form. Please upload all the applicable self-attested documents mentioned on the portal while filling up the form and then make online payment for issuance of Attestation.

In case you want us to send your attestation directly to the foreign Institute/Agency/Address or different Indian address, please edit the auto fetched address and fill your desired address. The additional courier charges of Rs. 2100/- will be charged in case of foreign address.

Note:

  • ICAI Members are required to pay 18% GST on the total amount.
  • The request will be processed within 21 working days from the date of the request filled, uploaded self attested Marksheets/ Pass certificates and completed in all aspects.
  • In case membership certificate is also required to be attested, kindly get in touch with M&SS section on their email: suniti.tripathi[at]icai[dot]in; msshead[at]icai[dot]in . Please note that on receipt of attested Membership Certification from the M&SS Department only, your attestation will be forwarded.

C. For correction in name/Registration No. in Marks Sheets or in pass/rank certificates

In case, you find any mistake in your name and/or Registration Number in the mark sheet or pass or rank certificate sent by the Institute, kindly send your original mark sheet or pass/rank certificate as the case may be, for correction in name and/or Registration Number together with supporting document i.e. copy of Student Registration letter issued by the respective Decentralised Office of the Institute. It may be noted that the name of a candidate will be shown in the same manner as it appears in the Student/Articles Registration Letter issued by the concerned Decentralised Office of the Institute. All the above mentioned requests along with the requisite fees / documents are to be sent by Speed Post at the address given below:
