The original HiSmile formula contained citric acid, sodium chlorite and sodium bicarbonate as the active ingredients. Citric acid can erode tooth surfaces and cause sensitivity, while sodium chlorite can be toxic in high amounts.

V34 is a post-whitening treatment that restores brightness and neutralises yellow tones on the tooth surface. It works to brighten teeth by utilising colour correcting technology.

If you want to color correct, you have to make sure you're doing it in natural light. I apply a thin layer of foundation or tinted moisturizer first, then I apply the color corrector on top followed by the remainder of the foundation. It's a lot easier to blend and tends to look more natural.
