When it comes to snacking, I try to keep healthy options available for my kids (and for myself). I like to buy organic whenever possible and offer my family a variety of good-for-you, but still delicious snacking choices.

That’s why I love this smoothie shots recipe. It’s made with fresh fruit and organic yogurt, so you can feel good about serving it as part of a healthy breakfast or anytime snack.

Of course, you don’t have to serve this in “shot”-size portions. Freel free to double or triple the recipe, depending on how many you’re serving and how large your serving glasses are. However you serve it though, you’re going to love the sweet and fruity taste. Enjoy!

Yogurt Smoothie Shots Tips & Variations

To blend your smoothie, you can use an immersion blender or a regular blender. If you’re making a smaller quantity, we like to use a Magic Bullet or Nutra Bullet blender.

If you don’t have strawberries, or you just want to try something different, you can swap out the strawberries in this recipe. Try any of your favorite berries, like blackberries, blueberries, or raspberries. You can also mix your berries for this recipe.

Frozen berries work great too!

You’ll want to use about two to three cups of berries. Feel free to adjust this depending on how thick you like your smoothies. You can add more yogurt if your smoothies come out too thick too.
