I graduated Haralson County High School in 2022, I knew of several students who were blatantly racist, sexist, hom*ophobic, ablest, etc; I remember even hearing some teachers making the same remark. I kept my head down and I had a handful of friends but I would talk to anyone, but no one really approached me. I mostly kept close to a few teachers who made a lasting impact on me and I was and still forever grateful for these kind-hearted people who helped better my life course.
The whole school district is built around a lower income community of people who either addicted to drugs or just down on their luck in life. I would guess about half of the students there went home to a family where they were neglected, abused, mistreated, and/or suffered these before they were in this high school.
I would like to see more money, counseling, resources, and love flood into this school and the community. Instead of attacking the people who are more unfortunate and fix the root of the problems

Overall, Haralson County High School was a good experience. For the most part, the faculty and staff were friendly and helpful when they could be. The best parts of my high school were the teachers who genuinely cared about their students and their well-being. I would say the worst parts were the favoritism that arose from teacher and parent relationships. I would like to see a growth in the adversity of students and faculty among the school.

Great programs and class options. I wish I had more information on all the options before I started the school and could make a more clear plan for my classes/schedule in advance.
