How to get Echo Lake Lumber as a settlement? ›

The settlement is obtained through the quest Turn Back the Fog, given by Small Bertha.

Through dialogue, the player character will help Bertha to convince Avery to provide fog condensers to make Echo Lake Lumber habitable. This completes the quest and a few settlers will be at the lumber mill next time the player character arrives and access will be granted to the workshop there.

There are three main faction towns on the Island, all of which are located in the central to eastern side of the island, as well as a few settlements also situated around the northern to eastern side of the island.

The settlement is obtained through the quest Walk in the Park. The settlement becomes available upon completing the quest and talking to Old Longfellow.

Happiness lowers or people die or everyone dies and your defenses are demolushed, yoyr croos on fire, etc. I once saw a message where I failed to protect my 280 defense castle (I wasn't even aware of it being attacked). Spent a good 20 minutes repairing the place. Sometimes they lose happiness.

If one has joined the Brotherhood of Steel, the hard Charisma check to tell her "I'm not leaving" is instead replaced by the option to tell her that the player character is a member of the Brotherhood, and since she has admitted to being a synth it is their duty to purge her, turning her hostile.

No she is not. She was manipulated/brainwashed into believing she was a synth to compel her to assist DiMA.

Notes. Sturges cannot be killed in normal gameplay, as he is essential. However, if he is killed with console commands, he will drop a synth component. His status as a synth is never alluded to or mentioned in dialogue.

A Hidden Treasure. Spectacle Island offers the biggest build area in Fallout, outside any modded content. It's a hidden location that appears off the coast of the main map, and unless players go exploring, it could end up being completely undiscovered.

Based on the player character's actions, DiMA can become an ally or an enemy. If the player character opts to keep DiMA's secret, he will assist in replacing High Confessor Tektus with an obedient synth, in order to secure a peace between the Children of Atom and Far Harbor.

In order to take the settlement, everyone must be killed, except Dora and Deezer. If the Sole Survivor decides to side with Covenant and completes the quest with dialogue options, then the town will allow the Sole Survivor to join without any conflict.

In order to gain Warwick homestead as a settlement, the player must either complete the mission Building a Better Crop or by getting one of the radiant Minutemen quests for this location Warwick Homestead: Greenskins. This quest can be acquired by talking to Roger.

The largest quantity that can be obtained within one settlement is Spectacle Island. Scrapping all wooden objects will yield well over 3500 wood. A sizable amount of wood can initially be obtained at most settlements by scrapping trees, stumps, branch piles, and wooden fences.

You'll need to crouch to enter. Head through the door and you'll be back inside the Lumber Mill building from earlier, the one with the power box. Turn right as soon as you're through the door and you'll see the power box. Walk over and flip the switches.
